St. Patrick’s Day at Discovery Green

Today we put on our green and headed out to Discovery Green! They have a flea market once a month, and I’ve been wanting to check it out for awhile now. It was gorgeous outside!

Heather, you need to do this!

There wasn’t anything that caught my eye, but it was fun to browse! Discovery Green offers loads of free events, so there’s something for everyone. Click here for their spring event list.

We had some time left on our meter, so we decided to stay for lunch. We ate on the patio at The Grove. I had the Grilled Fillet of Salmon. Delicious!

E had the Texas Taco Platter: Crispy Beef Short Rib Tacos. He said, “the meat was marinated perfectly.”

We both agreed that the food was fresh, and the restaurant is located in the perfect spot for lunch in the park, but The Grove did not sweep us off our feet. How did you spend your St. Patty’s Day?

  1. Found your blog via Texas Tales. Dang I should have gone to the discovery green. I could have used that license plate mirror. We have a license plate cowboy boot.

Talk to me!
