Danton’s Jazz Brunch

Danton’s is a restaurant that I passed by for a good year before actually stopping and eating. E and I went out one Sunday looking for a late lunch, and we ended up here. Lucky us! They have a blues jazz brunch from 11- 4 every Sunday. We went at 3, so we were seated right away. Reservations would probably be a good idea if you’re going earlier.

The band was awesome! People were getting up from their tables to dance. There was a lively energy, but the music wasn’t too loud, which was nice.

It took us forever to order because everything sounded so good! I ended up ordering the grilled salmon rubbed with rosemary, thyme and Bianca sauce. My sides were mixed veggies and okra & tomatoes. E had the grilled shrimp BLT with red beans and rice.

Food, service and music were all fantastic. Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the Montrose area. Where’s your favorite brunch?
