Holidays in Houston: Breakfast with Santa

Saturday morning E and I were up bright and early to have breakfast with Santa! The Arthritis Foundation, South Texas division held an event for kids with Arthritis to get together and spread some holiday cheer.

The home was decorated with bright flowers from Calloway’s / Cornelius Nurseries, piles of delicious breakfast foods were donated by Edible Arrangements, Shipley’s and local grocery stores, and each child was able to take home a gift with the help of Imagination Toys.

The kids got their faces painted with snowflakes and reindeer faces by Lisa Morales with A Pinch of Wonderful Face Painting, there was a balloon twister creating holiday-themed balloons like candy canes and Santa hats (and purple unicorns), and my personal favorite, Santa was ready to pose for a photo by the talented Alison with Carlino’s Photography.

It was a fun and crazy morning! If you want more info on Kids Get Arthritis Too events, head to the Facebook page {here}. And if you’re an adult and haven’t had your picture taken with Santa in awhile, it’s time! I think the grown ups enjoyed Santa being there just as much as (or maybe more than) the kids.
