Dish Society | Brunch

To conclude our Houstonian Getaway, we made our way to brunch at Dish Society. If you live in Houston and eat gluten free, then all you really need to know about Dish Society is that they offer gluten-free pancakes. Oh yeah. Only place in town that I know of {so if you know of another place, tell me!}.

Dish Society Dish restaurantDish counterThey don’t take reservations for brunch, and it was pretty packed when went around noon. It’s a fast-paced restaurant, a little noisy, and you have to really fight for a table if you want one. We sat at the bar.

Dish breakfast Dish migas Dish pancakesL.O.V.E.D. the gluten-free pancakes. They were huge and fluffy and had a hint of cinnamon. The fruit on top could have been a tad fresher, but all in all, delicious. I will definitely be ordering these again. E had the migas, and while good, he said he likes Empire Cafe’s migas better. I can’t imagine anyone topping Tiny Boxwood’s migas!

It’s pretty. It’s clean. It’s a casual farm-to-table restaurant that focuses on local ingredients. And the drink menu is killer. Give them a try. We need more places like this in Houston. Now I’m ready to go back for dinner.
