Valentine’s Day Dinner at Home

cheese

glass heart dessertE and I had the most wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner at home. We started out with wine and a cheese plate complete with a Savannah Bee Company honeycomb {symbolic of our time spent in Napa and Savannah}. We opened gifts {I went a little crazy at the Brooks Brother’s online sale, and he wrapped up a tripod in the most festive heart wrapping paper.}. Then we moved into the dining room to enjoy a little surf ‘n turf and Beecher’s gluten free mac ‘n cheese {symbolic of our time in Seattle} – PS – I disagree with the “World’s Best” label. But those brown butter and sea salt rice krispy treats? Ah-mazing. Seriously. Make them tomorrow.

xoxo,

Christie
